Kobe

We left Tokyo to go to Kobe, a large city in HonShyu. HonShyu is the center island, the biggest island, home also to Tokyo and Sendai and the area damaged most by the earthquake. We are visiting all three of the largest islands, but are staying away from the Sendai area of HonShyu. We are celebrating our wedding anniversary in Kobe. Here is the view from our hotel room.

We went up to the top of the hotel and had a little snack before going on a dinner cruise around the bay. This is the view from the top of the hotel. Not bad for a cloudy day.
